Update USPS Shipping Rates — Functional Description

Standalone orders admin screen for importing wholesale USPS commercial CSV rate matrices into custom pd_ database tables consumed by FS Reloading shipping charge calculators. Each upload replaces the target table after parsing the USPS spreadsheet layout (weight tiers, zone columns, and flat-rate box rows).

  • Open the USPS Business Prices page and download the current commercial CSV for the service you need to refresh.
  • Media Mail — imports two-column weight/cost rows into pd_usps_media_mail.
  • USPS Ground Advantage — imports zone-matrix weight tiers into pd_usps_ground.
  • Priority Mail Commercial — updates named flat-rate box costs in pd_usps_priority_mail_boxes, then imports zone-matrix tiers into pd_usps_priority_mail.
  • First-Class Package Service — zone-matrix import into pd_usps_first_class (upload UI currently disabled).
  • CSV files are stored under userfiles/files/usps/ before database ingestion.

Search for “Media Mail®” and click on the CSV link.

Select the file downloaded and click on the Update button.

Search for “USPS Ground Advantage” and click on the CSV link.

Select the file downloaded and click on the Update button.

Search for “Priority Mail® Commercial” and click on the CSV link.

Select the file downloaded and click on the Update button.
