Build Table

These products were removed from inventory and are waiting to be discarded or returned to stock.

Script Overview

This screen lists products that were taken off the shelf and stored on the build table. Delete drops that row and leaves the catalog quantity alone. Move puts the picked count back on the catalog product, writes the quantity log, and then drops the row. Both actions stay on this page. The shelf quantity column is the live shelf figure for that product.

Operator Workflow
Step 1
Review the Queue
  • Read the model, name, shelf quantity, and picked count for each row.
  • Picked is the count that was taken out of inventory.
Step 2
Delete
  • Choose Delete to remove the row from the build table only.
  • Catalog quantity stays the same. Use this when the pieces should not go back on the shelf.
Step 3
Move
  • Choose Move to add the picked count back onto the catalog product.
  • The build table row is removed after the quantity is updated.
Step 4
Read the Result
  • A successful Move shows the model, the old quantity, the picked count, and the new quantity.
  • If the move fails, the banner says the quantity and the build table row were left unchanged.
Step 5
Close
  • Choose Close when this page was opened in its own window.
  • The Inventory menu stays available when you want to open another task instead.
Technical Reference & Safeguards
  • Data Read: pd_build_table joined to oc_product and oc_product_description with language_id = 1. Shelf quantity comes from GetShelfQuantity().
  • Database Writes: Delete removes pd_build_table only. Move updates oc_product.quantity, writes pd_product_log, flags oc_kb_ebay_profile_products.revise, then deletes the pd_build_table row.
  • Safeguards & Notifications: Posted ids use mtInt(). Writes use mtPrepare() and mtStmtBindExecute(). Move runs inside one transaction and rolls back if the quantity update, the log, or the row delete fails. The success banner repeats the old quantity, picked count, and new quantity.
