Product Description Templates

Manage automated HTML product description templates per OpenCart category. Select a store, then drill down through recursive category levels until the target branch is reached. Edit the template stored in pd_product_description_template. Use {CustomFieldName} tokens (referenced via Display Custom Fields) to merge live product data before bulk-writing descriptions to oc_product_description.

• Store → Category (multi-level) — each tier reveals child categories until a leaf is chosen; invalid combinations return an empty dataset.
• Choose this Category — confirms the selection and opens the CKEditor template panel.
• Update Template — saves the HTML body to pd_product_description_template.
• View Products in selected Category — lists products with Preview buttons opening productDescTemplatesPopup.php.
• Update ALL Product Descriptions — substitutes custom-field tokens and writes each product's English description.
