Verify Order Status Paid & Preordered

This page automatically reconciles OpenCart orders between Paid (status 5) and Backordered & Paid (status 19) based on live shelf inventory and outstanding-order demand.

Operational Purpose

• Scan every order currently marked Paid or Preordered & Paid.
• Compare each line item against shelf quantity and competing orders in the outstanding fulfillment pipeline ($outstanding_order_status_list from orderStatus.php).
• Promote Paid orders to Preordered & Paid when any product is fully backordered.
• Demote Preordered & Paid orders back to Paid when every product is fully in stock.
• Write an audit comment to oc_order_history with customer notification enabled for each transition.

Database Targets

• oc_order.order_status_id — updated between statuses 5 and 19.
• oc_order_product — read-only source for line-item quantity and model.
• oc_order_history — insert-only audit trail with verify comments.
• oc_order_status — label lookup with language_id = 1.

Helper Dependencies

• mysql_tools.php — prepared statements via mtPrepare() / mtStmtBindExecute().
• inventory/shelfQuantity.php — GetShelfPickedPackedQuantity() shelf cache.
